Anwar Ratol
dried mango
Caramel · Toffee · Dark honey
A much smaller mango than Sindhri, with a celebrated flavour. Official trade material highlights its taste and records very little fibre beneath the skin.

Anwar Ratol, also written Anwar Rataul, Anwar Retaul or Anwar Ratole, is small, and its size is part of its identity rather than a measure of its quality. It has a following out of all proportion to that size, and people wait for its weeks in early summer.
Agricultural listings keep it separate from late Retaul selections such as Retaul No. 12, so the full name matters. We expect it to dry rich and dark, and will confirm that against our first finished batch.
